My current flash project is finally at a stage were it can be called "finished" What remains are a few more details to sort out. There will still be some significant time before I release anything in regards to it but it is getting to the finishing line.
As for gaming I've been engaged with Super Smash Brothers Brawl on the Wii. I want to battle online so here's my Brawl friend code: 3480-2203-1547 I'm on the east coast (NJ) so if you are nearby DEFINITELY feel free to add me. Hello again,
The 'Reawakenings Music Video' has been up now for quite some time. Currently it can be viewed on youtube, or through my site here. The video is based within an original fantasy universe that I hope to elaborate more on in the future. The follow-up video to reawakening has now been set aside to make way for a new project. If that worries you for whatever reason there is no need to, I plan on going back to the Reawakening universe later on.
I will not say too much about my new project except that it is indeed video game related. If you are a fan of my Mario Brothers flash series then I'm sure you will get a kick out of what is currently in production. Reawakening was my first major flash production not utilizing sprites, however it was very 'motion-tween' heavy. My new series will be frame by frame original cartoon animation... and yes it is a series and it is video game related. The only clue to what it may be about is that it will be fantasy based, and feature NES themed music.
There will be more news on the new project as the first 'installment' reaches completion, hopefully early in the new year.
As for my gaming experiences lately I've been sucked into a deep addictive love with The Orange Box - specifically: Team Fortress 2. All the fun I used to have, with the original tfc, I am now reliving! Pyro is my class of choice. The Half-life universe is getting increasingly compelling and although it'll be a while, I can't wait for episode 3. Portal is simply awesome.
With the Wii I am just awaiting February for my copy of Smash Brothers Brawl. I'm also hoping for Earthbound to be available soon on the Wii store, in the hopes Mother 3 (Earthbound 2 essentially) will be released via the Wii as well.

The new Alxlen.com
Alxlen has been undergoing some major changes the last few weeks. Finally it has reached a point of professionalism that I'm happy with and I'm sure will remain the official layout and style for the site for years ahead. From Alxlen.com I'll update everyone on new projects, projects in the making, as well as debut new illustrations and sketches. I look forward to utilizing the site to present all my new work as well as give potential employers a means of contacting me. I hope everyone will enjoy the new layout.
You may notice on the main page, and in the flash section, a new movie entitled 'Reawakening' which is yet to be released. Done in flash, this new movie will be a sneak peek into a new fantasy world named 'Ryth'. This movie is currently completed however is not yet ready to be seen at this current time. There is now a follow-up flash movie in production also dealing with this new fantasy universe. I look forward to sharing this world with everyone.
Aside from this flash series, there are also plans for a new string of video game related flash movies. I look forward to these as well.
